kompasx.dk only uses strictly necessary cookies unless you agree to analytics. This page lists the cookies and local settings the site uses and explains how to change your choice.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way, but the data stays in your browser and is not automatically sent to the server.
2. No advertising, no tracking without consent
We do not use advertising cookies or social media plugins. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics are only set if you have agreed to them (see section 5). Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser makes no requests to Google or any other third party until you give consent.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the site cannot operate securely without them.
kx_admin: a session cookie set only for WiconSoft staff when they sign in to the internal admin area (/admin). Regular visitors never receive it.
Cloudflare: the site sits behind Cloudflare, which may set security cookies such as __cf_bm to tell people apart from automated bots.
kx_preview: remembers that you entered the access key while the site is not yet public (30 days).
4. Language preference in local storage
The site only stores something in your browser's local storage when you make a choice yourself:
kx-lang: remembers whether you chose Danish or English. Only saved when you actively switch language.
kx-lang-hint-dismissed: remembers that you closed the language suggestion, so we do not show it again.
5. Analytics (Google Analytics – only with your consent)
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and how many sign up for early access or submit a support request. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we never send your name, email or other contact details to Google.
Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) and sends data such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit to Google. Google may process this data in the United States; the transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Measurement then stops and we delete the Google Analytics cookies in your browser. The internal admin page (/admin) is never measured.
6. The sign-up form and your consent
The sign-up form does not set any cookies. When you join the early access list, your consent and the version of the consent text are stored in our database, not in your browser. See our privacy policy for more.
7. How to delete cookies and local storage
You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page, or delete cookies and locally stored data in your browser settings. If you delete kx-consent, we will ask again on your next visit. If you delete kx-lang, the site will be shown in the default language again.
8. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact WiconSoft ApS, Kirkegade 11A, 1st floor, 7100 Vejle, Denmark, CVR 43094637, at kontakt@wiconsoft.com or on +45 44 22 44 11.
